Sunderland interested in Stoke City striker

Sunderland are interested in Stoke City striker Peter Crouch, according to the transfer rumours in British Media.

Since his arrival to Stoke City in 2011, English veteran striker has scored 33 goals in 153 appearances for the club.

But this season, Peter Crouch has played only 196 minutes in Premier League for Stoke City and he is yet to score a goal.

Sunderland manager David Moyes has limited funds to spend in January transfer window and he wants to reunite Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe.They both scored 37 goals in their first season together at Tottenham.

Euro Football Rumours understands that English international have only six months on his current contract and Stoke City are willing to cash in to avoid losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season.
