Stoke City chasing Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia
According to the football transfer rumours in English Media, Stoke City are chasing Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia.
Jonathan Kodjia has joined Aston Villa from Bristol City for a fee in the region of 12.9 million euros in August 2016. The 27 year-old has a valid contract with Aston Villa until June 2020.
Since his arrival from Bristol City, Jonathan Kodjia has scored 18 goals and provided two assists in 36 games for Aston Villa in all competitions this season.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in the Ivory Coast.
Jonathan Kodjia has represented Ivory Coast since May 2016. As a member of Ivory Coast national football team, Kodjia has won nine caps and scored four goals.
The Ivory Coast international is a player who has impressed many Premier League clubs in the last season, and it is understood that Stoke City manager Mark Hughes would prefer playing him as a forward.
Everon are apparently trailing Stoke City in the pursuit of Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia.
