Sevilla linked with Davy Propper
Sevilla are showing strong interest in Davy Propper.
The reports in England suggested that Sevilla are linked with Davy Propper.
The Netherlands international joined Brighton & Hove Albion from PSV for a fee in the region of 13 million euros in August 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2021.
Propper has played 47 times for Brighton & Hove Albion since signing from PSV, creating 4 assists in that time.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Netherlands.
Davy Propper has also scored 3 goals in 13 games for his country.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Sevilla.
Pablo Machín is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.
According to The Sun, “Sevilla will try and sign Brighton midfielder Davy Propper in January. The La Liga giants are short in the middle after losing two central midfielders to long-term injuries and it is understood have their sights set on Propper. Sevilla coach Pablo Machin is interested in luring Propper to La Liga, with his Dutch team-mate Quincy Promes already at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.”

Brighton & Hove Albion are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the midfielder, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
Signing the 27-year-old in the winter transfer window would be a masterstroke from Pablo Machín.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Sevilla.
How strong that interest is and whether Sevilla will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
