The reports in England and Spain suggested that Real Madrid are monitoring Velez Sarsfield midfielder Maximo Perrone.
The 18-year-old’s contract at Velez is set to expire at the end of the 2021/22 campaign. He has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Argentina.
Perrone has represented Argentina at Under-16 winning 7 caps.
His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.
Real Madrid are looking to sign a midfielder and have identified the 18-year-old as potential transfer target. They have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within South America, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.
