Real Betis will look to sign Ayoze Perez
Real Betis are reportedly keeping a close eye on many strikers across the Europe.
According to multiple reports emanating from England, Real Betis will look to sign Leicester City striker Ayoze Perez.
He has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The 29-year-old has been with Leicester since 2019, having signed for the club from Newcastle United for 33.4 million euros. He has a valid contract with Leicester until June 2023.
Ayoze Perez has scored one goal and assisted one more across all competitions this season.
Given that his contract is expiring soon and he has not yet signed an extension, the rumors have only heated up in recent weeks.
The Leicester manager does not see him in his plans and would be open to letting him leave.
Adding a striker remains Real Betis’ top priority this winter and Manuel Pellegrini will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming days. Pellegrini is a firm fan of Leicester City striker and Real Betis could make a move for the player if the financial aspect makes sense. Someone with Ayoze Perez’s skillset and potential will no doubt be an excellent signing for Real Betis boss Manuel Pellegrini.

The Foxes are on the weaker side of negotiations due to Perez’s contract situation. Real Betis will be eyeing a cut-price deal for the striker since he will be out of contract in 2023.
