Real Betis are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
According to Football Espana, “Real Betis have targeted Villarreal striker Gerard Moreno to alleviate their goalscoring problems, according to a report in Marca. The report cites the significance of Betis sporting director Lorenzo Serra Ferrer, who worked with the striker during a stint at Real Mallorca in the 2013/14 campaign. The striker has a €40m release clause at the club but it is likely they could aim to recoup the transfer fee that was spent last summer.”
