PSV in advanced talks to bring Everton young centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite
PSV Eindhoven is maintaining optimism in their pursuit of Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite.
Everton acquired Branthwaite from Carlisle United in 2020 for a transfer fee of 1.1 million euros.
The Dutch giants had the pleasure of having Branthwaite on loan last season, during which he made a significant impact. Branthwaite featured in 27 matches for PSV and found the back of the net twice.
Under the guidance of coach Ruud van Nistelrooy, the young centre-back demonstrated immense potential. However, PSV did not have an option to secure his services permanently at the time.
According to the Liverpool Echo, discussions are currently underway between the two clubs regarding a potential permanent deal for Branthwaite.
PSV remains hopeful of reaching an agreement for the 21-year-old, but Everton is reluctant to part ways with the talented defender.

The Toffees believe that Branthwaite can make a strong case for a regular spot in the first team for the upcoming season, which is why they are not inclined to sell him.
As negotiations continue, the final outcome remains uncertain. PSV is eager to secure Branthwaite’s long-term services, while Everton sees his potential and intends to utilize him in their future plans. The resolution of this transfer saga will have implications for both clubs and Branthwaite’s career path moving forward.
