Norwich enter talks with Bournemouth for Philip Billing
The midfield department of the Norwich squad needs quality additions this summer.
The latest reports in England suggest that Norwich City have entered talks with Bournemouth for Philip Billing.
The Denmark international joined Bournemouth from Huddersfield Town for a fee in the region of 16.5 million euros in July 2019. His contract expires in the summer of 2024.
In 79 appearances for Bournemouth, Billing has managed to score 12 goals, and create 5 goals for his teammates.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Denmark. As a member of Denmark national football team, Billing won one cap.
His performances have seen him become the target of many Premier League clubs including Norwich.
Daniel Farke wants to sign a new midfielder and Billing is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. The report claims that Norwich manager has extensively scouted Billing and is considering a move for the midfielder.
The Canaries are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
There is no doubt that Billing will take Norwich City’s midfield to a different level.

According to Football Insider, the newly promoted club are eager to sign a midfielder who can cut it in the top division. Billing has extensive experience in the Premier League, as he appeared in the top flight 77 times for Huddersfield Town and Bournemouth. The 25-year-old has three years left on his contract, which means any deal will not be cheap for Norwich. The Canaries have already boosted their options in midfield this summer by securing Chelsea hot shot Billy Gilmour on loan.”
