Newcastle pushing to sign Alexandre Lacazette

The latest reports in England suggest that Newcastle United are pushing to sign Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette.
The France international joined Arsenal from Lyon for a fee in the region of 53 million euros in July 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.
The forward has banged in three goals and provided one assist in six matches this term on all fronts.
His contract at Arsenal is about to expire and a number of clubs are said to be monitoring his situation, with Newcastle showing the most concrete interest in an attempt to lure the player to their team.
The Magpies are looking to sign a forward and have identified the 30-year-old as potential transfer target. They have been impressed by his performances this season and could make a move this winter.

Lacazette is a traditional number nine, having all types of finishes in his locker. He has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.
