Napoli willing to make 25 million euros offer for Alexander Sorloth
Napoli are reportedly set to make a €25 million offer for Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth – but is that the right move for all involved?
The 24-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Norway international joined Crystal Palace from FC Midtjylland for a fee in the region of 9 million euros in January 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2022. In August 2019, Alexander Sorloth was sent to Trabzonspor on loan.
The striker has banged in 31 goals and provided 10 assists in 47 matches for Trabzonspor this term on all fronts.
The 24-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Norway. As a member of Norway national football team Sorloth won 22 caps and he scored 6 goals.
Alexander Sorloth will be high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Trabzonspor this term.
Napoli will have funds to spend in the market and it will be interesting to see how they approach the summer transfer window.
Gennaro Gattuso is looking to shore up his attacking options and Sorloth happens to be a target.

According to the report, “Napoli are eyeing Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth. The Norway international has starred on-loan with Trabzonspor this season, which are set to sign him permanently for a set €6m option. Trabzonspor are then expected to sell Sorloth on for a profit with Napoli keen. The Daily Mail says Napoli are willing to offer €25m to sign the centre-forward this summer. Sorloth would arrive as a replacement for Arek Milik, who is angling to leave Napoli for next season.”

The Serie A side need to add more depth to their attack and the 24-year-old would be a good signing.
Alexander Sorloth is very highly rated in Turkey and he could be a superb long term signing for Napoli.
