Milan linked with fresh move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Milan appear to have a genuine interest in signing LA Galaxy star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, AC Milan are linked with fresh move for Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Sweden international joined LA Galaxy from Manchester United on a free transfer in March 2018. His contract expires in December 2019.
Ibrahimovic has played 24 times for LA Galaxy since signing from Manchester United, scoring 20 goals and creating 6 assists in that time.
The Sweden international has been in outstanding form for LA Galaxy this season.
Gennaro Gattuso is looking to shore up his attacking options and LA Galaxy’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic happens to be a target. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.
AC Milan are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
According to Football Italia (via Corriere della Sera), “Milan are reportedly interested in bringing back Zlatan Ibrahimovic, six years after he left the club. According to Corriere della Sera, Milan are looking for an affordable option to bolster their front line. The website explains Coach Gennaro Gattuso has asked that player to be the finished article and, if possible, have Serie A experience. Consequently, that would have taken the Rossoneri to Ibrahimovic, who could free himself from his LA Galaxy contract or leave before his contract expires in December 2019. Il Corriere notes the Diavolo are prepared to offer him a deal until the end of the season, while his family always felt ‘very well’ in Milan.”
