Manchester United join the hunt for Vincent Angelini
There has been intense speculation surrounding the future of Vincent Angelini in the last period.
As per British media, Manchester United have joined the hunt for Celtic goalkeeper Vincent Angelini.
The 17-year-old’s contract at Celtic is set to expire at the end of the 2020/21 campaign.
He has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Scotland.
Manchester United shortlist Vincent Angelini as transfer target this summer.
Ole Gunnar Solskjær has always been a manager who keeps his eyes on the most talented young players across the globe. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
According to the report,”Manchester United have joined the race to sign Celtic prospect Vincent Angelini. The 17-year-old stopper is out of contract at the end of the season and talks over a new deal have stalled. Angelini, who has an Italian father, is not short of suitors keen to land him for nothing. According to Tutto Mercato Web, United are joined by Premier League rivals Everton and Southampton who are in the market for his signature. But their biggest threat comes from abroad with clubs in Italy also locked in a transfer tug-of-war. Lazio, Atalanta and AC Milan are ready to make their move and Angelini is reportedly keen on testing his abilities in Italy. Angelini’s potential was realised at the Marc Overmars Tournament in 2017 where he was voted the Best Goalkeeper at the youth competition.”

The Red Devils will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Angelini to join the club.
Good signing for Manchester United?
The 17-year-old is a good goalkeeper, and on a free transfer, he would not be a bad signing for United.
If he manages to fulfill his potential with them, the transfer would seem like a bargain in future.
How strong that interest is and whether Manchester United will make a move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
