Spanish source claim that Manchester City will look to sign Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente.
The 24-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2021.
In total, Llorente has scored 2 goals from 37 Real Madrid matches.
Marcos Llorente has represented Spain at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 11 caps.
Adding a midfielder remains Manchester City’s priority this summer and Pep Guardiola will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.
The report claims that Manchester City manager has extensively scouted Marcos Llorente and is considering a move for the midfielder. Pep Guardiola is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
Marcos Llorente has the talent to play many roles in midfield.
According to Football Espana, “Manchester City want to sign Real Madrid midfielder Marcos Llorente and are prepared to pay €65m for his signature, say El Chiringuito TV. Llorente had been in line for a January loan move to Basque club Alaves but this was scrapped due to his performances, but after a promising run of form he suffered an injury setback. Journalist Pipi Estrada made the claim on Tuesday evening, although analytical website Transfermarkt rates Llorente’s transfer value at €15m.”
