Manchester City prepare mega offer for Isco
Over the past couple of weeks, there has been intense speculation over the future of Isco at Real Madrid.
The latest reports in England suggest that Manchester City are preparing mega offer for Isco.
The 28-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Spain international joined Real from Málaga for a fee in the region of 30 million euros in July 2013. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.
In 311 appearances for Real, Isco has managed to score 51 goals, and create 54 goals for his teammates.
The 28-year-old is considered to be one of the best attacking midfielders in Spain. As a member of Spain national football team, Isco won 38 caps and he scored 12 goals.
Isco is out of the picture at Real, which has opened the door for a potential exit.
By the club’s own admission, Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco is Manchester City’s number one transfer target.
The Spain international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking midfielder Pep Guardiola wants to target in the winter transfer window.
City are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
The Spain international will offer the Manchester City boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.
According to the report, “Isco has been at Real Madrid since 2013, earning more than 300 appearances for the first team and scoring more than 50 goals. However, he has fallen out of favor in recent years. He made just 15 starts in La Liga last season, and only 11 the year before that. Even though Zidane has defended him in the past, the Madrid boss is now losing faith in Isco. Therefore, the club will look to sell the midfielder at the earliest opportunity. Madrid will put Isco on the market in January, expecting a bid from Juventus. However, according to Todofichajes, Man City will also consider an offer. Pep Guardiola is a long-term admirer of the Spain international, so the report says he will not want to miss their best ever opportunity to sign him. Isco could help fill the void left by David Silva after the long-serving playmaker left City at the end of last season. The report adds that Isco will be available for a cheaper price than in previous transfer windows. Given the current climate and his lack of action, Madrid will not be able to ask for more than €40m. The La Liga champions could even accept a loan offer with a view to a permanent deal.”

Manchester City should do everything in their power to sign the in-demand Isco, who has all the qualities to be a success at the club.
