Euro Football Rumours understood that the Turkey international has a clause in his contract which activate a release clause next summer in a region of 9 million euros.

In order to get the best possible prize for their playmaker, according to sports director Rouven Schröder, Mainz may have to cash in during the January transfer window.

The Turkey international has already 124 Bundesliga appearances with Mainz, scoring 28 goals and is regarded among Turkey’s most exciting young players.
