British source report that Liverpool are preparing move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner.
The 22-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Germany international was signed by RB Leipzig in July 2016 from VfB Stuttgart for a fee of 14 million euros. The 22-year-old has a contract until 2020 with the club.
Werner made 98 appearances across all competitions for RB Leipzig, scoring 55 goals and supplying 20 assists in return.
His record for Germany is also impressive. Werner has scored 9 goals in 23 matches for Germany at senior level.
The Germany international has impressed in Bundesliga this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.

According to Teamtalk, “Liverpool are considering making a £50million move for an RB Leipzig star, according to reports from Germany. Various media outlets have suggested that the Reds have sent scouts to watch striker Timo Werner, and with the German international striker having netted 13 goals in 19 appearances for Leipzig so far this season, they appear to like what they see. Werner’s contract expires at the end of next season and it is understood that the Bundesliga club could cash in on their prized asset in a move which could see another player move to Anfield from the Red Bull owned club after Naby Keita’s summer move. Bayern Munich are also said to be in the race for the 22-year-old, and the latest reports suggest he could be available for just £50m.”
