Liverpool make bid for Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez
Now that the season is closing, it seems every day a new transfer rumour is created or re-created.
According to the football transfer rumours in British and Spanish media, Liverpool have made bid for Atletico Madrid striker Luis Suarez.
The Uruguay international only joined Atletico from Barcelona in 2020 for 7 million euros and his contract runs to June 2022.
This season, Suarez has scored 19 goals and provided 2 assists in 32 appearances for Atletico Madrid.
The 34-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Uruguay. His record for Uruguay is also impressive. Luis Suarez has scored 63 goals in 116 matches for Uruguay at senior level.
The Reds shortlist Luis Suarez as prime transfer target this summer. Jürgen Klopp is a long term admirer of Luis Suarez and believes he can get the most out of the Uruguay international.

Luis Suarez ideal fit for Liverpool?
Signing the 34-year-old in the summer transfer window would be a masterstroke from Klopp.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Liverpool.
A striker of Suarez’s ceiling will be a massive addition to Liverpool squad as he will not only improve the overall quality of Klopp’s starting XI but also add some stability and variety to his attacking department.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool can convince the Spanish outfit to sell Suarez in the coming transfer window.
