Liverpool join Tottenham in race for Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard

The latest reports in England suggest that Liverpool have joined Tottenham in race for Sampdoria winger Mikkel Damsgaard.
The 21-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
Sampdoria spent 6.75 million euros to sign the Denmark international from Nordsjælland in 2020. The 21-year-old has three years left on his current contract which expires in 2024.
In 39 appearances for Sampdoria, Damsgaard has managed to score two goals, and create four goals for his teammates.

Jürgen Klopp is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
The Denmark international will offer the Liverpool boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.
