Liverpool in advanced talks to bring Bayern Munich midfielder Ryan Gravenberch
Liverpool is currently engaged in negotiations with Bayern Munich in pursuit of securing the services of midfielder Ryan Gravenberch this week.
Back in June of 2022, Gravenberch officially inked a five-year deal with Bayern Munich, solidifying his position within the Bundesliga club. During this transfer, an aggregate sum of €18 million was disbursed to Ajax, with an extra €5 million potentially factored in through variable incentives.
Ryan Gravenberch effectively contributed to Bayern’s efforts across 24 matches. Notably, the Transfermarkt platform presently appraises his market value at a substantial €30 million.
Furthermore, the Dutch midfielder made his mark while representing the Netherlands, participating in 11 games and successfully registering one goal on the international stage.
Liverpool, under the leadership of manager Jurgen Klopp, is committed to the objective of securing the talents of the 21-year-old Dutch player. The desire to acquire Gravenberch has been a longstanding aspiration for Klopp, originating as far back as the previous summer.
Euro Football Rumours
Following unsuccessful endeavors to secure the signings of Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia, Liverpool now aspires to integrate a prominent midfielder into their ranks. The acquisition of Wataru Endo from Stuttgart has already been accomplished. However, Liverpool is now poised to welcome either Gravenberch or Cheick Doucoure from Crystal Palace into their squad.
Should negotiations progress favorably for Liverpool, their preference is unequivocally directed towards securing an agreement with Ryan Gravenberch. He stands as the coveted target to enhance their midfield prowess.
