Liverpool appear to have a genuine interest in signing Roma fullback Emerson Palmeiri this winter.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Liverpool will consider bid for Roma fullback Emerson Palmeiri in January.
The Italy international was signed by Roma in January 2017 from Santos for a fee of 2 million euros. The 23-year-old has a valid contract with Roma until June 2021.
Palmeiri has played 45 times for Roma since signing from Santos, scoring 2 goals and creating one assist in that time.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best fullbacks in Italy.
Emerson Palmeiri will be high in demand this winter, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Roma this term.
Adding a fullback remains Liverpool’s top priority this winter and Jurgen Klopp will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.
The report claims that Liverpool manager has extensively scouted Palmeiri and is considering a move for the fullback.
