Inter Milan appear to have a genuine interest in signing Benfica defender Lisandro Lopez this winter.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Lisandro Lopez is set to undergo Inter Milan medical ahead of move from Benfica.
The Argentina international joined Benfica from Arsenal de Sarandi for a fee in the region of 4 million euros in July 2013. His contract expires in the summer of 2021.
Since his arrival from Arsenal de Sarandi, Lisandro Lopez has scored six goals and provided three assists in 54 games for Benfica, including one goal in 8 games in all competitions this season.
As a member of Argentina national football team, Lisandro Lopez won four caps.

According to the report, Lisandro Lopez will take his Inter medical on Monday, as the Benfica defender prepares to arrive on loan with an option to buy.The centre-back has agreed a move to the Nerazzurri, whose need for a centre-back is well known.The deal is thought to be in the region of 500,000 euros for a loan, with Inter having the option to make the deal permanent for 9 million euros.
