Leicester submit bid for Marseille winger Bouna Sarr
Leicester City are looking set to land Bouna Sarr after British media revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with Marseille ahead of a potential move.
The Guinea international was signed by Marseille in July 2015 from Metz for a fee of 2 million euros. The 25-year-old has a contract until 2020 with the club.
Sarr has played 81 times for Marseille since signing from Metz, scoring four goals and creating three assists in that time.
The Leicester City manager is in the market for a new winger and Bouna Sarr could very well be a man under consideration.
Leicester City have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.
Bouna Sarr has been long term target of Claude Puel as the manager look to bolster his attacking options for the second part of the season.

According to the report, Leicester City are returning to France for another January signing. The Foxes wrapped up a deal for striker Fousseni Diabaté from Ajaccio over the weekend before lodging a bid for another France-based player. Leicester have offered in the region of 3 million euros to Marseille for winger Bouna Sarr. Marseille are prepared to sell, but are insisting Leicester up their bid. An offer of 5 million euros could be enough to see Sarr sold.
The 25-year-old would be a very good addition for Leicester City and they can afford him as well.
