The Portugal international joined Sporting from Sacavenense for a fee in the region of 37,000 euros in 2013. His contract expires in the summer of 2025.

It is thought Palhinha could be acquired for around £15million, though he is a more defensive midfielder, while Leicester would prefer someone who will add extra attacking impetus.”
