Lazio eyeing move for Chelsea winger Pedro
Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez has emerged as a surprise target for Lazio in the summer transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Lazio are eyeing move for Chelsea winger Pedro Rodriguez.
The Spain international joined Chelsea from Barcelona for a fee in the region of 27 million euros in August 2015. His contract expires in the summer of 2019.
Pedro made 131 appearances across all competitions for Chelsea, scoring 28 goals and supplying 20 assists in return.
The 30-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Spain.
His record for Spain is also impressive. Pedro has scored 17 goals in 65 matches for Spain at senior level.
The winger has just 12 months remaining on his contract and Chelsea may consider a deal in this transfer window to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
Simone Inzaghi wants to sign a new winger and Pedro Rodriguez is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this summer.
Lazio are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.

Furthermore, the Blues would be ready to accept an offer of ‘around €25m’ for the 30-year-old – at least €15m less than what West Ham reportedly agreed to pay the Aquile for Anderson.”
