The reports in England and Italy suggested that Juventus are linked with surprise move for Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz.
The 22-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Brazil international was signed by Aston Villa in July 2019 from Manchester City for a fee of 16.8 million euros. The 22-year-old has a contract until 2023 with the club.
The midfielder has featured in 10 matches for Aston Villa this term, providing two assists in all competitions.
The 22-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Brazil.
Douglas Luiz has represented Brazil at Under-20 and Under-23 level, winning 11 caps and scoring one goal, before making his senior international debut in November 2019. As a member of Brazil national football team, Luiz won two caps.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Juventus.
The Italian giants are looking to sign a midfielder and have identified the 22-year-old as potential transfer target.
