Juventus shortlist Filipe Luis as transfer target. The Italian champions will be desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.

According to Calciomercato (via La Gazzetta dello Sport), “According to the latest reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have identified Atlético Madrid left-back Filipe Luís as an ideal replacement for Alex Sandro, should he be granted his wish to leave Turin during this summer’s transfer window. Indeed, Bianconeri directors Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici met with Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes in Madrid earlier this week to discuss a potential move for the 32-year-old Santa Catarina native.”

Atletico Madrid are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the left-back, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.

Whether or not he is truly needed at Juventus is still debatable. The 32-year-old is certainly a player that would strengthen the current Juventus squad and would be a good buy in the summer transfer window.

Whether he will join Juventus or not remains to be seen.
