Juventus in advanced talks to bring Barcelona defender Juan Miranda

Barcelona defender Juan Miranda is reportedly nearing a move to Juventus.

Juventus are looking set to land Juan Miranda after Spanish media revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with Barcelona ahead of a potential move.

The 19-year-old has two years left on his current contract which expires in 2021.

Juan Miranda has represented Spain at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level, winning 43 caps and scoring 5 goals.

His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Juventus.

However, he did not feature in La Liga for the Blaugrana with Jordi Alba the club’s established left-back, while the club have been widely linked to an experienced back-up for next season. Miranda has starred for Barca B this campaign with the report claiming Betis technical secretary Pedro Buenaventura has extensively scouted the Spain youth international.”
