The reports in England suggested that Istanbul Basaksehir are looking to loan Everton midfielder James Rodriguez.
The Colombia international joined Everton from Real Madrid on a free transfer in 2020. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.
In 26 appearances for Everton, Rodriguez has managed to score 6 goals, and create 9 goals for his teammates.
The 30-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Colombia. James Rodriguez has also left his mark at the international stage after netting 23 goals in 80 senior appearances for the Colombia national team.
The Everton manager does not see him in his plans and would be open to letting him leave.
Aykut Kocaman wants to sign a new midfielder and Rodriguez is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. He is a firm fan of Everton midfielder and Istanbul Basaksehir could make a move for the player if the financial aspect makes sense.

The transfer window in Turkey is open until September 8th. James is under contract with Everton until 2022. The Colombia international was brought to Everton by Carlo Ancelotti, who has since moved on to Real Madrid. James is now available from Everton and could find an escape route to Istanbul Basaksehir.”
