Inter Milan linked with surprise move for Ilkay Gundogan

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian media, Inter Milan are linked with surprise move for Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan.
The Germany international joined Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund for a fee in the region of 27 million euros in July 2016. His contract expires in the summer of 2020.
Gundogan made 107 appearances across all competitions for Manchester City, scoring 16 goals and supplying 16 assists in return.
The 28-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Germany.
As a member of Germany national football team, Gundogan won 31 caps and he scored 4 goals.
His performances have seen him become the target of many European clubs including Inter Milan.
The Germany international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of midfielder Spalletti wants to target in the summer transfer window. Spalletti is a long term admirer of Ilkay Gundogan and believes he can get the most out of the Germany international.
Ilkay Gundogan has the talent to play many roles in midfield.
According to Calciomercato, “Inter have turned their attention elsewhere when it comes to scouting their next central midfield star. Tuttosport are reporting that they are very interested in Manchester City’s German midfielder Ilkay Gundogan; the German likely costing Inter in the region of €30m – making qualification for the Champions League an absolute must for the Nerazzurri.”

Manchester City are reluctant to let Gundogan go, but a big enough bid could persuade them to sell.
