Inter Milan edge closer to signing Sampdoria defender Milan Skriniar
defender Milan Skriniar has emerged as a surprise target for Inter Milan ahead of the summer transfer window.
Inter Milan are looking set to land Milan Skriniar after Italian Media (Sampnews24) revealed that they are in advanced negotiations with Sampdoria ahead of a potential move this month.
The Slovakia international was signed by Sampdoria in January 2016 from Žilina for a fee of 1 million euros. The 22-year-old has a valid contract with Sampdoria until June 2020.
Since his arrival from Žilina, Milan Skriniar has played in 38 games for Sampdoria,
The 22-year-old is considered to be one of the best defenders in Slovakia.
The Slovakia international has been in impressive form for Sampdoria this season.
Milan Skriniar has represented Slovakia at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 17 caps and scoring three goals, before making his senior international debut in May 2016. As a member of Slovakia national football team, Milan Skriniar has won seven caps.
