Inter Milan set to sign Elseid Hysaj
There has been numerous right-backs linked with Inter Milan in past few months.
Inter Milan are set to sign Napoli right-back Elseid Hysaj, according to the football transfer rumours in Italian media.
The 25-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Albania international joined Napoli from Empoli for a fee in the region of 5 million euros in August 2015.
Elseid Hysaj has played 169 times for Napoli since signing from Empoli, creating 9 assists in that time.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 25-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
As a member of Albania national football team, Hysaj won 44 caps.
The Albania international is believed to be available for transfer, with Luciano Spalletti now keen to bring him to Inter.
The right-back can also play as a full-back, offering Spalletti a different option should he change his formation at Inter Milan.
According to Football Italia, “Inter and Luciano Spalletti are reported to want Napoli and Albania full-back Elseid Hysaj at San Siro next season. According to FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have set their sights firmly on Hysaj, largely for his versatility, as he can play on the right or left. The 25-year-old could well leave Napoli this summer, as he has dropped down the pecking order under Carlo Ancelotti and his contract is due to expire in June 2021. Negotiations for a new deal have hit problems in recent weeks, as he was also linked with Chelsea. Inter are particularly eager to pick up Hysaj because Spalletti’s assistant manager is Giovanni Martusciello, who already worked with him and Maurizio Sarri at Empoli.”

Napoli are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the right-back, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
A move away from Napoli will not be only the best move for Hysaj, but also for the club.
Undoubtedly he would be a fantastic recruit for Inter.
