Fiorentina agree deal with PSG forward Jesé Rodríguez

Fiorentina have been heavily linked with a move for Jesé Rodríguez over the course of the transfer window.

According to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media (Football Italia), Fiorentina agree deal with Paris Saint-Germain forward Jesé Rodríguez.

The Spain international was signed by Paris Saint-Germain in August 2016 from Real Madrid for a fee of 25 million euros. The 24-year-old has a valid contract with Paris Saint-Germain until June 2021. In January 2017, Jesé Rodríguez was sent to UD Las Palmas on a loan until the end of the season.

Rodríguez made 16 appearances across all competitions for UD Las Palmas, scoring three goals and supplying one assist in return.

Jesé Rodríguez has represented Spain at Under-17, Under-18, Under-19, Under-20 and Under-21 level, winning 33 caps and scoring 15 goals.

Stefano Pioli wants to sign a new forward this summer and Jesé Rodríguez is one of the names at the top of his wishlist.

The Spain international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of defensive player Pioli wants to target in the summer transfer window.

Jesé Rodríguez has been long term target of Stefano Pioli as the manager look to bolster his attacking options for the next season.

Fiorentina are in the market for just a handful of statement signings this summer who can improve the first-team.

According to the report in Italian Media, Fiorentina agree a two-year loan deal with option to buy for Paris Saint-Germain star Jese Rodriguez, but they are waiting for approval from the Spain international. PSG also agree to pay a large percentage of Jesé Rodríguez’s wages during that period.
