Fenerbahce linked with Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam

According to the football transfer rumours in Turkish Media, Fenerbahce are linked with Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam.

Charlie Adam has joined Stoke City from Liverpool for a fee in the region of 4.5 million euros in 2012. The 31 year-old has a valid contract with Stoke City until the end of the season.

Since his arrival from Liverpool, the Scotland international has scored 21 goals and provided 16 assists in 141 games for Stoke City, including two goals and provided four assists in 21 games in all competition this season.

Charlie Adam has been a target of Dick Advocaat as the manager looks to bolster his midfield options for the second part of the season.

Few Premier League clubs are apparently trailing Fenerbahce in the pursuit of Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam.

Stoke City will hope to keep hold of their prized asset until the summer at the very least.

How strong that interest is and whether Fenerbahce will make a January move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
