Everton appear to have a genuine interest in signing West Ham striker Andy Carroll this winter.

According to the football transfer rumours in British Media, Everton are preparing move for West Ham striker Andy Carroll.

The England international has joined West Ham from Liverpool for a fee in the region of 17.5 million euros in July 2013. The 28-year-old has a valid contract with West Ham until June 2019.

The England international has played 118 times for West Ham since signing from Liverpool, scoring 30 goals and creating 17 assists in that time.

Andy Carroll has represented England at Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 13 caps and scoring 6 goals, before making his senior international debut in November 2010. As a member of England national football team, Andy Carroll has won 9 caps and has scored two goals.

Adding a striker remains Everton’s top priority this winter and Ronald Koeman will have drafted a shortlist of a number of possible targets he could approach in the coming weeks.

The England international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of attacking player Ronald Koeman wants to target in the winter transfer window.

Ronald Koeman is a long term admirer of Andy Carroll and believes he can get the most out of the England international.

Everton will be in the market for just a handful of statement signings this winter who can improve the first-team.
