Everton and Liverpool keen on Montpellier winger Ryad Boudebouz
Everton and Liverpool are keen on Montpellier winger Ryad Boudebouz, according to the football transfer rumours in French Media.
Ryad Boudebouz has joined Montpellier from SC Bastia for a fee in the region of 1.7 million euros in July 2015. The 27 year-old has a valid contract with Montpellier until the June 2019.
Since his arrival from SC Bastia, Ryad Boudebouz has scored 10 goals and provided 19 assists in 62 games for Montpellier, including 8 goals and 7 assists in 23 games in all competition this season.
Ryad Boudebouz has also represented France at Under-17 and Under-19 level, winning 12 caps across all age groups and scoring one goal. Since May 2010, Boudebouz is member of Algeria national football team, winning 24 caps and scoring two goals.
The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Ligue 1.
The Algeria international has been in fantastic form for Montpellier this season.
Ryad Boudebouz has been long term target of Ronald Koeman and Jurgen Klopp as the managers look to bolster their attacking options for the next season.
Everton and Liverpool aren’t the only ones who are reportedly interested in the Algeria international. Marseille are also thought to be tracking Boudebouz.
