Everton linked with fresh move for Iliman Ndiaye
There seems to be a late twist in the transfer saga involving Sheffield United striker Iliman Ndiaye, as Everton has been given a chance to re-enter the race for his signature due to the potential collapse of his move to Marseille.
Negotiations between the Blades and the French Ligue 1 club regarding the 23-year-old forward have been ongoing throughout July. However, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Everton has maintained an interest in signing Ndiaye since April.
Everton had previously pursued the Senegalese international during the winter transfer window, with L’Equipe reporting that the Toffees had submitted a €23 million bid (£20 million).
According to Transfermarkt.com, Ndiaye’s current market value stands at €18 million.
