Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion battle to sign Diego Falcinelli
Crystal Palace will reportedly go head-to-head with West Bromwich Albion this summer in the race to land Crotone striker Diego Falcinelli, according to the football transfer rumours in Italian Media.
Diego Falcinelli has joined Crotone from Sassuolo on loan until the end of the season in June 2016. The 25 year-old has a valid contract with Sassuolo until the June 2020.
Since his arrival from Sassuolo, Diego Falcinelli has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 33 games for Crotone in all competition this season.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in the Serie A.
The Italy international has been in fantastic form for Crotone this season.
Diego Falcinelli has been target of Tony Pulis and Sam Allardyce as the managers look to bolster their attacking options for the next season.
How strong that interest is and whether Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
