The England international has joined Leicester City from Manchester United for a fee in the region of 1 million euros in January 2012.

The 27-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in England.

Danny Drinkwater has represented England at Under-18 and Under-19 level, winning 16 caps and scoring two goals, before making his senior international debut in March 2016. As a member of England national football team, Danny Drinkwater has won three caps.

According to the report in Chelsea FC official website, Chelsea have signed midfielder Danny Drinkwater on a five-year contract from Leicester City for 41 million euros. The 27-year-old midfielder becomes Chelsea’s sixth senior signing of the summer following the arrivals of Willy Caballero, Antonio Rudiger, Tiemoue Bakayoko, Alvaro Morata and Davide Zappacosta.
