Chelsea eyeing move for Suarez
Chelsea are planning a move for Denis Suarez.
The reports in England suggested that Chelsea are set to sign Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez.
The 24-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Spain international joined Barcelona from Villarreal for a fee in the region of 3.25 million euros in July 2016. His contract expires in the summer of 2020.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 24-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
As a member of Spain national football team, Suarez won one cap.
Denis Suarez is out of the picture at Barcelona, which has opened the door for a potential exit.
Maurizio Sarri is looking to shore up his midfield options and Barcelona’s Denis Suarez happens to be a target. He is a known admirer of the player and is reportedly keen on the idea of bringing him this winter.
According to Teamtalk, “Chelsea are eyeing a January swoop for Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez. The Spain midfielder looks to be the man Maurizio Sarri has set his sights on to replace Cesc Fabregas, who it was on Tuesday claimed is set for transfer talks with AC Milan. And the Daily Mirror claims Sarri has already instructed Chelsea to make a move for Suarez to plug the gap in their midfield, with the Italian believing the former Manchester City academy man could be signed for as little as £15million. The 24-year-old is looking for a way out of Barcelona in a bid to revive his career, having only made one appearance in LaLiga this season. And Barca would not stand in the player’s way if Chelsea meet their asking price, meaning a return to the Premier League looks increasingly to be on the cards.”
