Cardiff City to make a move for Glen Kamara
Cardiff City target Glen Kamara from Dundee United to boost their midfield options.
It’s claimed by British media that Cardiff City will make a move for Glen Kamara.
The 23-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Finland international joined Dundee United from Arsenal on a free transfer in July 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2019.
Kamara has played 63 times for Dundee United since signing from Arsenal, creating five assists in that time.
The 23-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Finland.
As a member of Finland national football team, Kamara won 9 caps and he scored one goal.
The Finland international has impressed in the Scottish Premiership this season and is starting to attract the interest of bigger clubs.
Neil Warnock is looking to shore up his midfield options and Dundee United’s Glen Kamara happens to be a target. He is a long term admirer of Glen Kamara and believes he can get the most out of the Finland international.
Cardiff City are desperate to make an impact in the winter transfer window.
Kamara would provide a good variety to Cardiff City’s midfield.
According to Teamtalk, “Cardiff City are set to land Finnish international midfielder Glen Kamara. The Dundee ace is out-of-contract at the end of the season, and has been attracting attention from a host of clubs in the Premier League and also from Old firm giants Celtic and Rangers. The 23-year-old – who came through the ranks at Arsenal – joined Dundee in 2017, but he is now set to move on and he is on course to signing a pre-contract with Cardiff. Once the pre-contract is in place Cardif could make an offer to make the deal permanent in January, but if they don’t he would move to the Welsh capital for nothing in the summer.”

Signing the 23-year-old in the winter transfer window would be a masterstroke from Neil Warnock.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Cardiff.
Will Glen Kamara be a Cardiff City player soon? Only time will tell. Thanks to his great displays, he’ll be at a much bigger club than Dundee United this time next year.
