The reports in England suggested that Burnley are eyeing move for Southampton midfielder Harrison Reed.
The midfielder has provided one assist in 27 matches for Fulham this term on all fronts.
He’s incredibly experienced for a 25-year-old and still has tons of room for growth.
Reed has represented England at Under-19 and Under-20 level, winning 17 caps.
The midfielder has been in impressive form for Fulham this season and it looks like he caught the eye of many Premier League clubs including Burnley.
Harrison Reed is widely regarded as a key transfer target for Burnley this summer. He is a long-term target of Burnley and could be a decent addition for Sean Dyche’s side.
Burnley are in the market for just a handful of statement signings who can improve the first-team.
Harrison Reed has the talent to play many roles in midfield.
According to the report, “Burnley are interested in signing Harrison Reed from Southampton. The midfielder has been excellent on loan at Fulham in the Championship, as they chase promotion to the Premier League. And Burnley boss Sean Dyche is interested in bringing the 25-year-old to his club for next term, per the Daily Mail. Reed will sit down with Southampton when the season concludes and decide his long term future. It is unclear if he is in the plans of manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.”

A move away from Southampton will not be only the best move for Reed, but also for the club.

Burnley fans would certainly love to see him arrive at the club.
