Borussia Dortmund willing to buy Liverpool forward Divock Origi
BVB are reportedly one of many clubs keeping tabs on Belgium international.
According to the football transfer rumours in British media, Borussia Dortmund are set to sign Liverpool forward Divock Origi.
The Belgium international was signed by Liverpool in July 2014 from Lille for a fee of 12.6 million euros. The 25-year-old has a contract until 2024 with the club.
The forward has banged in one goal and provided two assists in 17 matches this term on all fronts.
The 25-year-old is considered to be one of the best forwards in Belgium. As a member of Belgium national football team, Origi won 29 caps and he scored 3 goals.
Divock Origi is one of the more likely players to be offloaded by Liverpool this summer and the list of suitors in the Belgium international continues to grow.
BVB are looking to sign a forward and have identified the 25-year-old as potential transfer target. They have built a reputation for recruiting talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.
Origi has the talent to play many roles in attack. He has the quality and the experience to make an immediate impact.
According to the report, “Borussia Dortmund are hoping to sign Divock Origi for a bargain price. The Belgian striker is on the outer at Liverpool, who are willing to sell him this summer. And they could have a buyer in Dortmund. But Football Insider says the price must be low if they are to purchase the Champions League hero. Injuries have tarnished Origi’s time at Anfield, but goals in the Champions League semi-final and final in 2019 has etched his name in Liverpool folklore.”

A move away from Liverpool will not be only the best move for Origi, but also for the club.
Divock Origi has all the skillset required to be a success story at Borussia Dortmund. Therefore, it makes sense for BVB management to bring the Belgium forward to their side.
