Borussia Dortmund linked with fresh move for Jayden Braaf
BVB are known for going under the radar and signing some hidden gems in the transfer window.
According to the football transfer rumours in British and German media, Borussia Dortmund are linked with fresh move for Jayden Braaf.
The Netherlands international joined Manchester City from PSV on a free transfer in August 2018. His contract expires in the summer of 2023.
The 18-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Netherlands.
Jayden Braaf has represented Netherlands at Under-15, Under-17 and Under-18 level, winning 21 caps and scoring 7 goals.
BVB are looking to sign a winger and have identified the 18-year-old as potential transfer target. Borussia have built a reputation for recruiting young talent from within Europe, predominantly targeting those with sell-on value and immense potential.
Braaf is a long-term target of Borussia and could be a decent addition for Edin Terzić’s side.
The Netherlands international will offer the Borussia Dortmund boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.
According to the report, “Borussia Dortmund are in talks with Manchester City for Jayden Braaf. Braaf is pushing to leave City ahead of the market reopening in January after finding himself on the outer of their first team plans. An attempt at new contract talks have been rejected by Braaf’s camp and he is now the subject of an approach from BVB. Dortmund are willing to cough up a fee to sign the winger next month and City are now resigned to losing another prospect to the Germans after the departures of Jadon Sancho and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens. BILD says City are prepared to sell for €10m – but will also insist on a buy-back clause being included in the deal.”

Borussia Dortmund will have to come up with the right proposal to convince Braaf to join the club.
Good signing for Borussia Dortmund?
If Jayden Braaf is available for the right price, then he could be a clever acquisition for BVB.
It is smart from the club to invest in younger players, rather than splashing out big money on experienced players with no resale value.
Braaf will be an ideal choice for Terzić as he ticks all the right boxes in terms of what he demands from his attackers.
Stylistically, he would be a great fit in Dortmund.
It will be interesting to see if BVB make their move for the 18-year-old in the coming days.
