Boca Juniors eyeing move for Ever Banega
The reports in Spain suggested that Boca Juniors are eyeing move for Sevilla midfielder Ever Banega.
The 30-year-old has been subject to interest from various European clubs.
The Argentina international was signed by Sevilla in July 2017 from Inter Milan for a fee of 7 million euros. The 30-year-old has a contract until 2020 with the club.
Banega has scored 8 goals and assisted 11 more across all competitions this season.
The 30-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in Argentina.
His record for Argentina is also impressive. Ever Banega has scored 6 goals in 65 matches for Argentina at senior level.
Boca Juniors manager is a long term admirer of Banega and believes he can get the most out of the Argentina international.
His versatile nature can help the manager to be more flexible with the formations.
According to Football Espana (via Marca and El Desmarque), “Argentinian side Boca Juniors are interested in bringing Ever Banega back to the club, according to reports in Marca this weekend. Banega has a contract with Sevilla until 2020, and he is rumoured to be unsatisfied with their end to the season, and Boca are monitoring the situation with interest. Marca also quotes Andalusian newspaper El Desmarque, which states that Boca have already put together a salary package for Banega when his contract expires – with a three year contract on offer for the 30-year old midfielder.”

Sevilla are not in a position where they need to sell and would like to keep hold of the playmaker, but right offer may force the club to consider a deal.
Stylistically, Banega would be a great fit in Boca Juniors.
