The England international joined Aston Villa from Northampton in March 2016.

The 17-year-old is considered to be one of the best midfielders in England.
Bayern are looking to sign a midfielder and have identified the 17-year-old as potential transfer target.

Manchester United have been linked with the teen, while Fussball Transfers says Bayern are also keen. Chukwuemeka signed a three-year pro contract in October, but that hasn’t put off his suitors. Last year, Villa chief exec Christian Purslow described Chukwuemeka as “probably the best 16-year-old in all of England”.

Bayern will have to present a really enticing offer to bring Aston Villa to the negotiating table. The German giants have the resources to tempt them but it will be interesting to see if they are willing to overpay for the player.

It is smart from the club to invest in younger players, rather than splashing out big money on experienced players with no resale value.
Chukwuemeka is still quite young and he will only get better with experience. He would be a good long term investment for Bayern.
