Barcelona reach agreement to sign Jose Angel Pozo
The reports in Spain suggested that Barcelona reach agreement to sign Almeria midfielder Jose Angel Pozo.
The Spain international joined Almeria from Manchester City for a fee in the region of 500,000 euros in August 2015.
Since his arrival from Manchester City, Jose Pozo has scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 87 games for Almeria, including two goals and four assists in 18 games in all competitions this season.
The 21-year-old has been touted as one of the brightest young prospects in Spain.
Jose Angel Pozo has represented Spain at Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level, winning 15 caps and scoring four goals.
According to the report, Barcelona have agreed a deal in the region of 3 million euros for Almeria midfielder Jose Angel Pozo. The former Spain Under-21 international made four first-team appearances at Manchester City in the 2014-15 campaign before signing a five-year deal with Almeria that summer. The Catalan giants have a long-term plan of integrating him into the first-team squad at the Camp Nou after a spell in the B side.

The move was rumored for weeks and months before ever officially happening. At some points it seemed Pozo would stay at Almeria, but for the most part it has been evident for some time that he would leave.
Now, he will be able to prove his talents yet again at one of the greatest club’s in Europe, Barcelona.
