Reports in the British media claim Barcelona are linked with Real Sociedad winger Adnan Januzaj.
The Belgium international joined Real Sociedad from Manchester United for a fee in the region of 8.5 million euros in July 2017. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.
The winger has featured in 21 matches this term, netting 2 goals and providing 2 assists in all competitions.
The 26-year-old is considered to be one of the best wingers in Belgium. As a member of Belgium national football team, Januzaj won 13 caps and he scored one goal.
He will be high in demand this summer, with him having enjoyed a sublime season for Real Sociedad this term. Barcelona are looking to sign a winger and have identified the 26-year-old as potential transfer target. The report claims that Barcelona manager has extensively scouted Januzaj and is considering a move for the winger.
The former Manchester United man will offer the Barcelona boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.
According to the report, “Barcelona are eyeing Real Sociedad winger Adnan Januzaj. Januzaj’s contract with La Real runs to the end of the season and talks over a new deal are yet to commence. Watching developments are Barca, which are interested in taking the 26 year-old former Manchester United winger in a Bosman deal next summer. La Real president Jokin Aperribay has stated hope of convincing Januzaj to extend his stay.”
