Barcelona linked with a move for Edinson Cavani

The reports in England suggested that Barcelona are linked with a move for Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguay international joined United from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer in October 2020. His contract expires in the summer of 2022.
In total, he has scored 17 goals and supplied 6 assists from 41 Manchester United matches.
The 34-year-old is considered to be one of the best strikers in Uruguay. His record for Uruguay is also impressive. Cavani has scored 53 goals in 123 matches for Uruguay at senior level.
The Uruguay international is believed to be available for transfer, with the president Joan Laporta now keen to bring him to Barcelona.
Laporta wants to sign a new striker and Cavani is one of the names at the top of his wishlist. The Uruguay international is thought to perfectly fit the profile of striker Laporta wants to target in the winter transfer window.
