Barcelona interested in Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg
According to the football transfer rumours in Holland Media, Barcelona are interested in Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg.
Kasper Dolberg has joined Ajax form Silkeborg IF for a fee in the region of 270,000 euros in 2015. The 19 year-old has a valid contract with Ajax until June 2021.
Since his arrival from Silkeborg IF, Kasper Dolberg has scored 12 goals and provided five assists in 30 games for Ajax in all competitions.
The 19-year-old is considered to be one of the brightest prospects in the Holland league.
Dolberg has represented Denmark at Under-16, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level, winning 24 caps and scoring nine goals, before making his senior international debut in November 2016.
The Denmark international is a player who has impressed many European Clubs in the last season, and it is understood that Barcelona manager Luis Enrique would prefer playing him as a forward.
Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United are apparently trailing Barcelona in the pursuit of Ajax striker Kasper Dolberg.
How strong that interest is and whether Barcelona will make a summer move remains to be seen but it is certainly one worth keeping an eye on.
