Over the past couple of weeks, there has been intense speculation over the future of Marcelo Brozovic at Inter.
As per British media, Barcelona are eyeing move for Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.
The Croatia international was signed by Inter in July 2016 from Dinamo Zagreb for a fee of 5 million euros. The 28-year-old has a contract until 2022 with the club.
The midfielder has featured in 42 matches last term, netting 2 goals and providing 7 assists in all competitions.
His record for Croatia is also impressive. Brozovic has scored six goals in 63 matches for Croatia at senior level.
The midfielder has just 12 months remaining on his contract and Inter may consider a deal in this transfer window to avoid losing him for nothing next summer.
His impressive performances this season have apparently caught the eye of some of Europe’s big clubs.
The Spanish giants are looking to sign a midfielder and have identified the 28-year-old as potential transfer target.
The report claims that Barcelona manager has extensively scouted Brozovic and is considering a move for the midfielder.
Barcelona are desperate to make an impact in the summer transfer window.
The Croatia international will offer the Barcelona boss the freedom to be more flexible with his formations, tactics and team selections.

According to the Italian media, Barca are keeping tabs on the player and are weighing up a move for him this summer. They were turned down by Georginio Wijjnaldum, who signed for PSG, and want to bolster Ronald Koeman’s midfield. Brozovic has turned down Inter’s attempts to renew his deal and is looking over various offers to start a new adventure elsewhere. Last season he was one of Antonio Conte’s key players as Inter won Serie A.”
